New Internet TV network launches at St. Paul convention

Pajamas TV, a new Internet-based TV network, kicked off operations Sept. 1 with live coverage of the Republican National Convention from the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, MN.
The fledgling Internet TV network is the creation of Pajamas Media, an online media company that provides news coverage, analysis and commentary from its network of more than 90 correspondents and bloggers. PJTV launched ongoing programming Sept. 8.
A recent study from Pew Research showed nearly half of the news-consuming public places great value on the Internet as a daily or nearly daily source of news. Pajamas Media, and its new Internet TV venture, have positioned themselves to meet this growing demand. Already, 3.5 million people per month are turning to Pajamas Media for news and commentary.
