Sigma signs deal to acquire Zensys
Digital media processor SoC manufacturer Sigma Designs has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Zensys Holdings, a wireless start-up company in Fremont, CA.
Zensys Holdings develops single-chip RF solutions called Z-Wave designed into more than 250 smart home products worldwide. Z-Wave establishes a wireless mesh network that transforms virtually any electronic device into an intelligent networked device.

Operators deploy Envivio 4Caster C4 encoder for mobile applications
Envivio said last week that the new mobile TV configuration of its 4Caster C4 three screens encoder has entered service with several mobile network operators and content aggregators around the world.
The Envivio 4Caster C4 simultaneously delivers four channels of video to up to 32 different mobile TV profiles.

Endavo Media powers AmericanPowerboat.tv
American Powerboat Television launched www.americanpowerboat.tv, a 24/7 on-demand video network, Dec. 19 featuring coverage of the world’s major offshore events.
The site is dedicated to powerboat-centric programming, including events from Super Boat International, Europe’s Powerboat P1, the Offshore Super Series and select poker run events. The online channel is relying on the Endavo Media Internet TV platform for content management and distribution.
