Irdeto, Brand-ID Europe team to create integrated prepaid TV offering

Irdeto and Brand-ID Europe have teamed to integrate Irdeto content security solutions with the CHKVIEW payment service, which supports a full range of prepaid business models for digital TV, IPTV and mobile environments.
The agreement gives operators a seamlessly integrated solution for offering a wide variety of prepaid service packages of channels or events of any time duration from minutes to months. Such packages can be composed of single or multiple-use activations, as well as being points-based or multi-play offerings.
The solution includes electronic vouchers and a unique range of secure scratch voucher formats to suit any service offering and sales channel. Viewers simply submit the voucher code, and the prepaid programming immediately appears on the chosen device, whether on a digital TV, IPTV or mobile network.
