Ixia, F5 Networks showcase F5 VIPRON at Interop

Ixia and F5 Networks jointly demonstrated F5 VIPRON on-demand Application Delivery Controller (ADC) capabilities at Interop in Las Vegas April 27–May 2.
The demonstration showcased high-volume Web and video traffic performance, focusing on how enterprises can scale their application-delivery infrastructures with VIPRION, while reducing data center power consumption, rack space requirements and management overhead.
Next-generation data centers focus on consolidating services and integrating platforms to deliver improved performance and increased efficiency. F5’s VIPRION is a modular hardware platform that delivers 36Gb/s of layer 7 throughput, 1 million connections per second and 200,000 SSL transactions per second.
