Industry analyst Deloitte predicts that in 2007, delays caused by rich media travel on the public Internet will affect its long-term business sustainability. According to PacketExchange CEO Kieron O‘Brien, the bottom line is that the public Internet is a great place to acquire customers, but it's not the place to deliver high-quality video content.

Instead, PacketExchange layers a private high-speed network on the public network for an application-sensitive delivery alternative.

PacketExchange‘s ProXimity peering and eXpress services typically deliver faster downloads among the majority of its European clients, compared to typical U.S. download times. This assures online video distributors reliable revenue-generating customer experiences.
