Scopus Video Networks will introduce its new network management system (NMS) Eldorado at IBC2008 in Amsterdam this week.
Eldorado's open, scalable architecture enables technology migration and integration of new services and third-party devices, and can be fully customized to manage resources across networks.
The system provides full support and compatibility for IP and ASI routing for headend and converged infrastructures. Additionally, Eldorado provides a variety of wizard-based redundancy schemes, including 1:1, N:1, N:M product levels; signal paths; and a recovery solution for reception loss.
Eldorado's graphical user interface features a dashboard providing at-a-glance views of consolidated network status and enables drag-and-drop operations and on-screen setup for both online and offline operations.
