TANDBERG Television has launched MediaModeler Content Management System, a new application toolkit designed to let telco operators increase customer satisfaction and retention as well as monetize their Web portals with a compelling online video experience.

MediaModeler allows operators to provide subscribers with a more personalized user experience, and richer search and discovery features. The system is designed with a flexible database structure that supports fully customizable metadata profiles. It can automatically enhance metadata associated with ingested video assets by interfacing with third-party metadata services and Web 2.0 sources.

Its flexible database structure and enhanced metadata support form MediaModeler’s core and allow operators to build rich search and discovery video portals by adding support for new sources of metadata.
