Triveni Digital technology director to address Telecom2008 gathering at NAB2008

Richard Chernock, CTO of Triveni Digital, will discuss the ATIS IPTV Interoperability Forum (ATIS-IIF) during NAB2008.
LG Electronics subsidiary Triveni Digital CTO Richard Chernock will present "Role of IPTV Standards in Achieving Quality of Service" during the Telecom Technology Papers Conference at Telecom2008 during NAB2008 in Las Vegas.
"Standards make it easier to develop consistent, reliable equipment not only for delivery of services but also for quality of service monitoring," Chernock said. In exploring how IPTV standards influence quality of service, Chernock will discuss IPTV standards currently under development and compare those standards to similar DVB, ATSC and SCTE standards.
Chernock also will provide an overview of the work and objectives of the ATIS IPTV Interoperability Forum (ATIS-IIF) and conclude his presentation with practical approaches to QoSM (Quality of Service metrics) standards.
