Viewcast, Multicast Media ink VAR deal

ViewCast has signed a value added reseller (VAR) agreement with Multicast Media Technologies.
Multicast will bundle the purpose-built ViewCast Niagara streaming media appliances with its turnkey streaming and service support package. ViewCast will begin shipping Niagara encoders to Multicast for deployment within existing infrastructures and for use with new customers and applications.
With a focus on small-to-medium-sized Internet broadcast productions, Multicast will provide end-to-end care and manage the delivery and backroom operations for the non-technical content producer, allowing ViewCast to focus on providing new streaming server hardware and software. Content providers will also be able to benefit from full technical support services, including remote testing and quality assurance, from Multicast.
