FOXSports.com on MSN, MLB.com use NewTek TriCaster

Oct 23, 2007 8:40 AM

FOXSports.com and MLB.com are using the NewTek TriCaster STUDIO portable live production suite for the live webcasts of pre-game and post-game shows for Major League Baseball’s World Series and American League Championship Series.

The half-hour webcasts will be available on FOXSports.com on MSN and MLB.com before and after the televised pre- and post-game coverage of each game.

TriCaster enables sports organizations, corporate communications departments, broadcasters, schools and others to provide extended programming and content to their fans, partners and other audiences. With TriCaster, a single operator can produce a live show switching between as many as six cameras with two VCRs, multichannel effects, and NewTek’s proprietary virtual sets and keying technology.
