ANT achieves deployment of 10 million units
ANT announced March 25 that it has deployed more than 10 million units worldwide, including the ANT Fresco and ANT Galio IPTV platforms.

Many large IPTV deployments have been based on ANT’s software, including Chunghwa Telecom, France Telecom, Hansenet and Telecom Italia. ANT also has licensed its software to many device manufacturers.

EveryZing, YuMe partner on in-stream ad solution
EveryZing has partnered with YuMe to provide turnkey in-stream advertising solutions to its network of publisher customers. YuMe provides an ad management platform and a premium advertising network for the online video industry.

With the YuMe integration, EveryZing’s customers can manage their own in-stream ad campaigns and monetize their content from the YuMe ad network.

Bulgarian triple-play operator adopts Orca Interactive
Bulgarian triple-play operator Vestitel has selected IPTV middleware and applications provider Orca Interactive to supply its RiGHTv IPTV middleware platform for a new IPTV service.

The IPTV middleware will replace the existing solution powering Vestitel’s current IPTV service and is being used to partner with multiple Bulgarian operators that plan to go live with their service at the end of this month.

BT Media and Broadcast adopts Harmonic’s Rhozet transcoding
BT Media and Broadcast, part of BT Global Services, has adopted Harmonic’s Rhozet universal transcoding technology for its BT Mosaic digital media platform.

BT Mosaic is an online digital media management platform that manages content preparation and delivery processes. BT Mosaic with Rhozet Carbon Coder provides an integrated, end-to-end file-based workflow for content acquisition, preparation and multiformat delivery.

Anevia secures $7 million second round financing
IPTV and video on demand (VoD) solutions provider Anevia has secured $7 million in a second round of financing led by Seventure Partners alongside CDC Innovation, a shareholder from the first round funding in 2005. Aelios Finance advised Anevia on the transaction.

This new round of funding will enable Anevia to increase its international presence and finance the roll out of its three screen strategy. Anevia’s solutions allow customers to broadcast audiovisual content live or on-demand simultaneously over TVs, PCs and mobile phones.
