mediaXstream chooses Net Insight Nimbra for delivery network

mediaXstream has selected the Net Insight Nimbra optical transport platform for its new North American video transport service network.

The company launched its new network using Net Insight’s Nimbra platform to carry real-time traffic for professional media companies across the United States. The Net Insight platform enables the company to meet the 100 percent quality of service (QoS) and availability demands of the professional media industry.

The company built out the first phase of its network in 17 of North America’s largest cities, including New York, Washington, D.C., Houston, Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area. The new network offers high-capacity transmissions using Net Insight’s Nimbra platform to deliver uncompressed and compressed HD or SD video, data and voice services.
