ND SatCom announces IPTV contribution solution

ND SatCom’s new IPTV contribution solution can achieve an IP data rate exceeding 10Mb/s.

ND SatCom has introduced a newly designed IPTV contribution solution that allows live video contribution and video streaming based on MPEG-4/H.264.

ND SatCom’s solution contains the lightweight SkyRAY Light antenna subsystem, the company’s Antenna Pointing System (APS) and the SkyWAN Compact T satellite modem, which will be launched next month at IBC2007 in Amsterdam.

The package is intended for broadcasters and media companies equipping ENG vehicles with a satellite uplink to produce and transmit live IPTV content. An IP data rate exceeding 10Mb/s can be achieved for highest video quality.
