NewTek ships TriCaster PRO

NewTek has begun shipping the TriCaster PRO, an enhanced version of the TriCaster, a turnkey, portable, live production system.

TriCaster PRO allows users to mix multiple live component cameras with pre-edited video, overlay titles, images, external computer displays and live Web pages while simultaneously providing output to video, projector and the Internet.

TriCaster PRO features include:

• switching and preview of three cameras
• connecting up to six cameras
• iVGA network import of external computer displays
• XGA projector output
• virtual VCR and picture player
• live Web streaming and recording
• audio mixer
• titler
• hundreds of 2-D and 3-D transitions
• Video editing
• component video in and out
• auto camera calibration
• BNC and XLR connections
• waveform and vectorscope
• balanced audio in and out with phantom power
• high-resolution projector outputs (WXGA, SXGA, WSXGA, QSXGA)
