Oct 10, 2006 8:00 AM

The new OmniBus iTX intelligent transmission software for IPTV replicates all of the master control functions.

OmniBus iTX enables IPTV service providers, online broadcasters, mobile TV services, content aggregators and media portals to launch new services quickly and  simply via a single software-based transmission solution.

The iTX system software serves as a video server, master control, graphics and logo inserter. It delivers automation, ingest, editing and basic content management functionality. It can mix DV; MPEG-1, -2 and –4; AVI; and WMV formats freely and will scale incoming media of any resolution to the appropriate output format, enabling SD and HD content to be mixed in the same playlist.
