Red Bee Media to feature Digital Hive workflow

At IBC2007, Red Bee Media will showcase its playout, subtitling, branding, promotions and media planning technology that supports broadband TV services such as BBC iPlayer.
BBC iPlayer is the UK public service broadcaster's on-demand service that became available over the Internet to UK TV license fee payers in July. The system relies on the technology and workflows of Red Bee Media's Digital Hive.
Red Bee Media is responsible for content ingest, transcoding and quality control, which happens through an automated workflow that enables programs to be repurposed quickly for BBC iPlayer.
