Solectek introduces SkyWay-EB

Solectek has announced its new SkyWay-EB Series licensed point-to-point microwave platform.

The system can operate at up to 1.25Gb/s full-duplex and is optimized for security, surveillance and carrier backhaul. It is well suited for mission-critical links in the 70GHz and 60GHz unlicensed bands. The system’s antenna and electronics are combined in one outdoor unit to simplify installations.

Among the applications for the SkyWay-EB are:

•  Last-mile building access
•  Carrier class backhaul
•  3G, 4G, WiMAX, UMTS, IPTV, VoIP, Wi-Fi backbone infrastructure
•  ISP & WISP backbone
•  Metro fiber extension
