TelAmerica Media chooses Radiance for digital ad delivery

TrueDelivery technology allows TelAmerica Media to automate and schedule content distribution, keeping bandwidth use and human support costs at its Philadelphia headquarters to a minimum.

Radiance Technologies, a provider of digital media delivery systems, has announced that TelAmerica Media will use its technology to deliver television commercials to multiple major U.S. cable affiliates.
TelAmerica will use Radiance’s TrueDelivery solution, which enables spots to be sent via the Internet on Radiance’s overlay network. The delivery technology uses proprietary algorithms to optimize bandwidth, and offers file-tracking capabilities, guaranteed delivery and an interface accessible from any Web browser.
TelAmerica Media’s CableConnect service offers its customers placement options for spots on cable networks by aggregating unsold local avail inventories. The new file-based digital delivery technology, which replaces traditional delivery of videotapes, allows TelAmerica to offer its customers cost savings over conventional network rates.
Additionally, TrueDelivery allows it to automate and schedule content distribution, keeping bandwidth use and human support costs at its Philadelphia headquarters to a minimum.
