Evolution Digital, a manufacturer and supplier of all-digital systems and drop solutions, is implementing the Triveni Digital GuideBuilder SI DVB-SI (DVB System Information) generator within a DVB-based solution that enables mid-sized and small cable operators to launch all-digital networks affordably.
GuideBuilder SI provides critical program information to Evolution's digital-to-analog converter, which provides the subscriber with a more enhanced channel navigating experience.
Evolution's offering within the U.S. market integrates the GuideBuilder SI within an end-to-end digital solution, including headend, conditional access, and set-top boxes (STBs), provided with installation, integration and ongoing technical support services. The system's reliance on the DVB standard enables use of a broader range of competitively priced STB models.
Triveni Digital recently signed a reseller agreement with Evolution Digital.
