UDcast to launch new data compression at IBC2007

At IBC2007 in Amsterdam, IPTV to the mobile DVB-H solutions provider UDcast will launch a new data compression technology that enables an acceleration in data transfer by a factor of 10.
The technology is already used in disk-based compression, but IBC2007 will be the first time it is integrated in a dedicated satellite data appliance — UDgateway. Additionally, the technology will be used for acceleration of terrestrial WAN (wide area networks) in cooperation with Ipanema.
