VeEX licenses Telchemy’s VQmon for handheld test instruments

VeEX has licensed Telchemy’s VQmon for integration into its range of handheld test products.
Based on the VePAL 100 platform, the VeEX product range provides a wide variety of testing capabilities for triple- and quad-play testing. Addressing triple-play DSL, FTTH, cable TV and metro Ethernet, the VeEX product portfolio provides an all-in-one test equipment solution.
Telchemy’s VQmon is a widely used and deployed technology for Voice-over-IP and IP-Video analysis, producing accurate quality of experience (QoE) metrics, such as MOS scores, and a wide range of diagnostic data. VQmon offers the ability to detect transient problems affecting quality and to produce quality metrics that reflect the impact of time varying quality on subjective user opinion.
