ViXS Systems debuts HD transcoder, encoder, decoder SoC

ViXS Systems has debuted its XCode 3290, an MPEG-4 AVC (MPEG-4 Part 10/H.264) transcoder/encoder/decoder System-on-a-Chip (SoC), in North America.
The XCode 3290 SoC features real-time MPEG-2 high-definition to AVC HD transcoding, real-time AVC HD to MPEG-2 HD transcoding, AVC/MPEG-2 HD decoding and encoding.
