The TacCat, which provides tactical Cat 5e Ethernet interconnection in a heavy-duty construction for on-the-road Ethernet and digital audio applications, is available in single-channel cords and multichannel assemblies.
Wireworks’ new TacCat network cable assemblies are made to withstand the toughest environments, says Wireworks President Gerald Krulewicz. The new Ethernet cables can be used anywhere a rugged Cat 5e Ethernet connection is required.
TacCat features full-spec Cat 5e in a road-ready outer jacket that is more than twice the thickness of computer room patch cables. TacCat network cords are available with Neutrik’s etherCON data connectors or traditional RJ45 Ethernet connectors, both with colored boots for fast cable recognition. TacCat cords come in a variety of standard lengths, ranging from 25ft to 250ft, with custom lengths to order. Bandits, Wireworks’ custom-printed shrink tubing labels, are available with personalized company names or logos.
