ZyXEL announces new wireless ADSL2/2+ gateway, IPTV STB

ZyXEL Communications has unveiled the P-660HNU series 802.11n ADSL2/2+ wireless gateway and the STB-1001 IPTV set-top box.

The ZyXEL P-660HNU is an all-in-one high-speed 802.11n wireless ADSL2/2+ gateway with high-speed 802.11n wireless. It interfaces over existing copper lines and is designed for telco’s voice, video and data services, especially IPTV.

The new ZyXEL STB-1001 IP set-top box is designed to be a cost-effective IPTV solution for telcos and Multi-Service Operators (MSOs). 

The ZyXEL P-660HNU series features ADSL2/2+ high-speed, 802.11n draft 2.0 wireless capabilities, MIMO technology and a USB 2.0 host

The ZyXEL’s STB-1001 offers multiple video streaming support to create more revenue per subscriber while saving in capital and operational expenditures.    ZyXEL’s IP set-top box features digital rights management (DRM) support with Macrovision and CA for content protection; MPEG-1/2/4 with H.264 SD codec support; and IGMP, SNMP and TR-069 multicasting support.
