ThePlatform signs mobile video content management deal with Helio

Mobile video publishing software company thePlatform has inked a deal with Helio to aggregate and manage the wireless carrier's portfolio of mobile video content. Under the agreement, Helio's content providers will have access to thePlatform's system for uploading, scheduling and managing video.

The deal enables Helio to receive and manage files from its content providers, with thePlatform serving as the centralized aggregator for managing and uploading the content. In addition to Helio, thePlatform also manages the back-end video platform for Verizon Wireless' V CAST service and the music and video services for Amp'd Mobile.
