Small Tree and Technologies for Worship Magazine recently announced that the winner of the inaugural "Miracle of Speed" contest is New Life Providence Church, a growing multi-site congregation with campuses in Chesapeake and Virginia Beach (Virginia). The church will receive a GraniteSTOR TITANIUM8 shared storage system, with an MSRP of $11,195, which will enable the organization's video-editing team to maximize workflow.
GraniteSTOR TITANIUM8 is a high-performance, capacity dense, dedicated video editing shared storage appliance with advanced file sharing enabling simple and real-time collaboration for post-production professionals.
"We're fortunate to have a large congregation at each of our campuses, but given today's scheduling demands we feel it is critical to make inspirational sermons available to those who are unable to attend each week," said Joel Solomon, communications director. "As such, we record and edit our sermons so that our congregation can purchase if they'd like and view as their schedule allows. With Small Tree's shared storage technology, we'll be able to streamline our projects and meet deadlines more easily."
TITANIUM8 is a 2U rack-mount solution configurable up to 10 GbE or eight 10GbE ports with a storage capacity of 8TB to 72TB, while supporting up to 35 streams of ProRes 422. To facilitate set-up, Small Tree's storage and networking experts will assist with remote installation of the system at New Life Providence Church.
