Chyron unveils HyperX2 HD, SD graphics system

Chyron introduced three new graphics systems at NAB2007, including the HyperX2, which replaces the HyperX as the company’s premier HD/SD graphics creation and playout engine.

Chyron also unveiled the LEX2, which replaces the LEX, LX and HX200, providing advanced features and scalability to HD. Both systems can run Chyron’s new advanced creation and playout software option, Lyric PRO 7, driven by Chyron’s interFuse technology.

Additionally, the company rolled out SOLO2, which provides broadcasters with a graphics system in a briefcase.

The new HyperX2 HD/SD-switchable, single- or dual-channel system provides:

  • A Lyric PRO 7 option;
  • Simultaneous, dual-channel HD animation rendering functionality;
  • Integrated video mixer with optional audio mixer;
  • Optional 3-D DVE and second video input;
  • Adaptive Primitives and FBX Importer within Lyric PRO, for 3-D interoperability.
