1-2-1VIEW unveils MegaEye video wall system
Sep 14, 2006 8:00 AM
At IBC2006, 1-2-1VIEW introduced MegaEye, a new software-based video wall solution that enables non-linear, dynamic grouping of video wall segments and flexible content control with the click of a mouse.
Using powerful streamer software as opposed to the commonly used videowall processor or PC display card, the MegaEye performs all media processing steps including display analysis, cropping, re-encoding and streaming.
Based on Linux open source and IP technology, the MegaEye allows operators to segment a video wall into horizontal, vertical or matrix sets and dynamically distribute content according to a pre-configured playlist.
Operated by 1-2-1VIEW’s Ninja digital signage media player and a standard computer server, the MegaEye requires no additional proprietary processor hardware.
