Several Grass Valley LDK 6000 Worldcam HD cameras are capturing the Wimbledon Tennis Championships for the BBC.
Grass Valley LDK 6000 HD cameras and LDK 6200 super slo-mo HD cameras are being used by the BBC for its coverage of the 2006 Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships. This year's Wimbledon tournament will be broadcast in full HD, on the Sky platform and its new terrestrial service.
Presteigne Broadcast is supplying the Grass Valley equipment to the BBC. The LDK 6000 and the LDK 6200 HD cameras will be operated on standard triax cables, allowing the BBC crew to set up and break down the equipment in and out of the stadium quickly.
