Miranda standardizes NBC facility

May 18, 2005 1:46 PM

Miranda Technologies has signed a multi-year deal to provide NBC Universal with HD terminal, channel branding, and multi-imaging solutions. NBC is currently standardizing its new HD facility build-outs.

The XVP-801i HD/SD universal video processor cross converter was a key element in NBC Universal's decision to opt for Miranda solutions.

As part of the purchase, the network chose HD Imagestore units for channel branding, Kaleido K2 multi-image display processors, and an array of HD interfacing modules that includes the XVP 801i.

Miranda's solutions will also be integrated into the NBC Olympics facilities, and will be online for the 2006/2008 Olympics in Torino and Beijing.
