Thomson renames broadcast division

Recognizing its well-known brand identity in the broadcast and video production industries, Thomson said that as of NAB2005, it is officially changing the name of its Broadcast & Media Solutions division to Grass Valley.
In addition to marketing professional cameras, switchers, servers, routers and modular products, the division also produces video compression and networking, and professional audio video products and services.
The Grass Valley brand is being applied to all activities of the division – including the Web site. The URL www.thomsongrassvalley.com is shifting to www.grassvalley.com. All traffic to the former Web site will be automatically directed to the new site.
