AccuWeather, DT Research team to integrate weather and news into digital signage

AccuWeather and DT Research have formed an alliance to integrate AccuWeather.com content into the WebDT Digital Signage System, giving AccuWeather’s customers access to real-time weather and news content delivered into DT Research’s digital signage networks.
AccuWeather and DT Research weather and news content modules are optimized for either full-screen or multiframe digital signage applications. They are available in text, video and animated formats to accommodate venues with varying dwell times and ambient noise.
AccuWeather.com will bring content tailored for every U.S. zip code and numerous international cities, in both English and Spanish. WebDT will bring to the table signage display and player hardware as well as content and device management software. The WebDT system also provides an IR Touch option, allowing businesses to run signage and kiosk applications simultaneously.
