Apple has qualified AJA Video Systems' Io FireWire interface for editing on the Power Mac G5 and G4 for use with Apple's Final Cut Pro HD editing software.

Qualification is achieved through rigorous testing and analysis to ensure that devices are compatible with current Apple hardware and software.

With a single FireWire connection, Io connects 10-bit uncompressed video and 24-bit multichannel audio, analog or digital to the Power Mac.
