Taiwan’s ERA 24-hour news channel has selected Dayang Technology Development and Digivideo MultiMedia Technology Company to design and install its digital newsroom using Dayang Net technology.
At the heart of the system is the Dayang X-Edit advanced nonlinear editing system and the Matrox Digisuite LX and MAX. News sources feeding the system include the AP wire, local news, the international wire and satellite feeds.
In an effort to improve the quality and volume of its broadcasts, ERA settled on a digital networked system that can handle its news production requirements and need for video and audio simultaneously. Additionally, the broadcaster will rely on the system for playout from the studio.
