Amino Communications has ported Espial’s IPTV middleware, the Evo TV service platform, to its HD range of set-top boxes, including the recent new models, hybrid-compatible A532 and A132.
Espial’s Evo TV service platform features Evo Client, an intelligent, small footprint, set-top box middleware that delivers a subsecond user experience for a range of TV applications.
Service providers can use its authoring environment to build and customize user interfaces that deliver interactive applications and content to consumers. It also provides an application development environment, including tools, methodologies and open APIs, to allow operators to build additional applications. The Evo Client includes a toolkit that allows user interfaces and applications to be seamlessly ported for a consistent user experience across set-top boxes.
