Andrew's Microwave System Planner (AMSP) features a new design option called Link Calc. Users can automatically calculate communication system link budgets based on their selected design parameters and products.

The AMSP prepares system information in formats that can be exported to many other applications, updates specifications and pricing information, and saves system configurations for future use. With the new Link Calc option, users can also generate a fully itemized bill of materials once the required fade margin is achieved. The AMPS automatically checks system components for compatibility.
