IBC Leaders’ Summit to bring together industry power players to discuss leadership in a digital age

This year’s IBC Convention will witness the launch of the IBC2011 Leaders’ Summit, to be held on Sept. 8-9 at RAI Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Electronic media technology has enabled a new wave of entrepreneurs and empowered the consumer. This has led to a period of dynamic change.

The Leaders’ Summit program, “Leadership in a Digital Age,” will address the challenges of steering organizations to success through this new media landscape. It will be led by some of the most influential figures within the electronic media industry.

They will share their vision and experiences with an invited audience of 50 key broadcast leaders from across Europe. They will explore how leaders must adapt to this new business environment and help set the agenda for future strategy.

Speakers include:

• Mike Darcey, COO, BskyB
• Erik Huggers, VP, general manager digital home group, Intel
• Chris Dedicoat, president, European markets, Cisco
• William Roedy, former chairman and chief executive, MTV Networks International (MTVNI)
• Caroline Thomson, COO, BBC
