Organizers of IBC2008 are seeking a few interested, qualified people to assist in selecting the winners of the 2008 IBC Exhibition Design Awards.
Volunteers for the judging should have an interest in good design, no direct connection with any exhibitor and be available on the mornings of Friday, Sept. 12, and Saturday, Sept. 13.
Details of the types of qualifications organizers are seeking for judges can be found at http://www.ibc.org/cgi-bin/displaypage.cgi?pageref=4741. While the notes are mainly aimed at exhibitors, they give those interested in applying to be judges a good sense of the areas in which they must be competent to make judgments regarding exhibits.
Those interested in applying should e-mail Keith Harlow, chairman of the Exhibition Design Awards Jury, and submit a resume before Aug. 18.
