The NAB’s Content Theater will include stereoscopic 3-D, FX, animation and new media content. It’s housed in a state-of-the-art digital screening room where top Hollywood filmmakers and executives reveal how they used new technologies to produce and distribute their latest releases across the four screens: film, TV, broadband and wireless.
Industry leaders appearing there include Bryan Fuller, creator, “Pushing Daisies,” who joins executive producer/director Barry Sonnenfeld in a session dedicated to the critically acclaimed show; Harry Shearer, comedian/political satirist; Don Was, Grammy award-winning music producer and Rob Barnett, president/CEO, “My Damn Channel,” who will share the stage in a panel about the entertainment site My Damn Channel; as well as Evan Spiridellis, co-founder JibJab Media Inc. and Kent Nichols, co-creator AskANinja.com, two of five broadband pioneers who will look at independent online programming.
