WireLogic kits began shipping in eco-friendly packaging in mid-January 2008.
The Quest Group, parent company of WireLogic, last week announced a new green initiative to transition all of its WireLogic products to new eco-friendly packaging.
WireLogic is migrating to the use of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) in its packaging. PET breaks down in the environment at a far more rapid pace than the commonly used polyvinyl chloride (PVC). To eliminate waste, the company will use recyclable/recycled paper products and transition to bubble pack instead of clamshell packaging, reducing the amount of plastic used.
WireLogic kits began shipping in eco-friendly packaging in mid-January 2008, with all products scheduled for the new packaging by the end of 2008.
