TV One has added to its functional S2 Series by unveiling its S2-101AA Stereo Audio Power Amplifier, which provides for a wide range of audio input connections including RCA jacks, mini-combicon terminal jacks and a 3.5mm single-ended jack to accommodate PC audio inputs. The output connectors use spring-loaded terminals for connection to external speakers.
The S2-101AA provides 10W RMS per channel into a 4ohm load when signals from a preamplified source are provided as inputs. It operates with low THD+N and high S/N+N. Moreover, crosstalk is greatly minimized. Frequency response ranges from 20Hz to 24kHz and the inputs can be either balanced or unbalanced. To prevent speaker damage, the unit has pop suppression upon turn on. It also features short circuit and over temperature protection.
