AT&T’s Global Network Operations Center (GNOC) in Bedminster, NJ, serves as the nerve center of the telecommunications giant’s global enterprise. The GNOC was recently upgraded with 141 Christie TotalVIEW rear-projection modules. Operating around the clock, the 12ft by 250ft seamless video wall displays more than 207 million pixels and provides a comprehensive view of all network traffic and activities around the world.
The upgrade replaces Christie’s previous screens at the GNOC after seven years that encompassed 61,000 hours of continuous operation.
Installed in the upgraded GNOC are 141 Christie TotalView RPMSP-D120U rear-projection modules. The new projection system is designed to ensure continuous quality service during peak usage and under the adverse conditions. The wallboards monitor patterns and predictability of usage to ensure the highest level of security, service and performance management for AT&T’s communications networks.
