Autocue signs KSHB-TV in Kansas City

Autocue Systems' QSeries newsroom production system will be installed at
KSHB-TV, the NBC affiliate in Kansas City, MO.

The QSeries system, which includes the QNews, QMedia, QNet and QTx components, will modernize and streamline the news production process at the E.W. Scripps owned station.

The initial implementation will include the QNews (newsroom production) and QNet (prompting) components with the QMedia (media management) component to be added in a second phase.

When fully implemented, journalists will be able to write scripts -matching the words to the pictures by browsing edited video on their desktop PCs. This allows producers and reporters to select the exact video item needed for a particular story saving them time and effort.
