Avid Technology has launched the Avid Academic Partner (AAP) program, a worldwide initiative to help colleges and universities prepare students for successful careers in media.
The AAP program delivers lower-priced, integrated Avid products and courseware as well as the ability to achieve Avid-Certified Campus status. Additionally, participants in the Avid AAP program will be eligible for various faculty development grants and student scholarships and the opportunity to have high-profile industry professionals spend a day on campus, courtesy of Avid.
The Avid AAP program is open to educational institutions that have Avid systems in good working order and offer one or more degree programs aimed at a career in media.
