BBC Post Production works on its first HD drama

BBC Post Production has worked in collaboration with BBC Drama on its first high-definition drama, “Every Time You Look At Me.”

The production team was keen to explore the possibilities HD technology offers to maximize the quality of the piece and increase its export potential. This allowed the post-production team to use its full suite of HD equipment, including its Quantel's eQ, and bring BBC Drama's ideas to life.

The work was undertaken by BBC Post Production's Steve Jamison, who conformed and finished the drama using the eQ, while his colleague, award-winning colorist Chris Packman, graded both the SD and the final HD versions. This project is the first of many HD collaborations between BBC Post Production and program makers aimed at exploring the opportunities offered by working in high definition.
