DVEO, the new broadcast division of CMI, has introduced three new products, including the HD Maestro MPEG encoder card, the MuxMaster, an MPEG transport stream multiplexer subsystem, and the Quad/i, a four port DVB-ASI PCI 2.2 interface card.

The HD Maestro supports encoding of all the major 1080ip and 720p resolutions to future-proof investment in HD.

The HD Maestro is capable of encoding MPEG streams at 50Mbits per second at HD-resolutions, which is well above industry requirements for ATSC. The HD Maestro supports encoding of all the major 1080ip and 720p resolutions to future-proof investment in HD.

The MuxMaster is designed to enable seamless muxing of four separate single or multi-program transport streams into a single multi-program stream.

The MuxMaster has DVB ASI inputs, which can be any rate below 100 Mbits/sec. The output is DVB ASI with a rate greater than the sum of the input bit rates with the maximum specified output multiplex rate of 100 Mbits/sec.

The Quad/i interface card combines the functionality of four DVEO Master III PCI cards into one board receiving four separate streams from four separate sources with each port offering selectable channels.
