Eyeheight releases new in-vision audio display

Left and right audio channels (or dual mono) are superimposed as three-color bargraphs, one on each side of the program picture. Each periscope bargraph is configured with PPM ballistics and user-selectable dBFS, dB normalised, BBC or DIN scales.

Eyeheight has introduced the periscope, a new rugged dual in-vision audio level display for use with embedded or AES digital audio.

Left and right audio channels (or dual mono) are superimposed as three-color bargraphs, one on each side of the program picture. Each bargraph is configured with PPM ballistics and user-selectable dBFS, dB normalised, BBC or DIN scales. Operational features include peak hold indication, full, half or quarter bargraph size, variable meter location and adjustable opacity.

Up to six periScope units can be accommodated in a 1U Maxi-Box chassis. Periscope is fully compatible with Eyeheight's geNETics modular range of products and systems.

The periScope is available now.
