Force unveils Model 3762 DigitalEXCELLinx for digital broadcast systems



The Model 3762 transports all combinations of broadcast formats while providing users with a wide range of control options and telemetry information.

Force has unveiled the Model 3762 Digital EXCELLinx, a fiber optic digital transport platform linking broadcasters to broadband video distribution systems.

The Model 3762 transports all combinations of broadcast formats while providing users with a wide range of control options and telemetry information.

Offered in a 1RU optical terminal, the Model 3762 multiplexes two channels of digital or analog formats in any combination depending on system requirements. All modules are hot-swappable and can be uniquely configured for each user. Modules currently offered:

  • RS-250C short-haul broadcast-quality single-channel 12-bit digitized analog video module with six audio channels

  • SMPTE 259M 270 Mb/s Serial Digital Interface (SDI) or DVB-ASI 19.4 to 213 Mb/s, single-channel smart module, auto sensing/auto ranging, which can operate in either mode

  • SMPTE 310M with up to six multiplexed 19.4 Mb/s channels

  • Auto Format Conversion SMPTE 310M to ASI
