HDNet broadcasts anniversary in HD

HDNet is providing live HD coverage from Ground Zero in New York City on September 11th in a special all-day feature.

HDNet will have one HD mobile production unit at Ground Zero. Capturing the HD images are three Sony HDC-900 1080i-60 HD cameras.

HDNet started its live broadcast from Ground Zero at 8 a.m. ET and will cover all the day’s events without interruption. Broadcasts include the morning ceremony with government officials and victims’ family members, and President Bush’s visit to the site.

In a separate late-night broadcast, HDNet will document the only known September 11th footage captured in HD format.
