NBC owned stations to use school closing system

CloseNow, CGS InfoGraphics Automation's school closing display system, uses Web automation to collect information.

CGS InfoGraphics Automation’s school closing display system, CloseNow, has been selected by NBC for the network’s owned-and-operated television stations. The display technology uses phone and Web automation to collect school, business and church closing information and automatically distributes the information on-air and the Internet.

NBC O&O stations in New York City; Raleigh, NC; Hartford, CT; Columbus, OH; and Birmingham, AL currently use the display with additional NBC stations slated for installation later in 2003.
